12/21/2009 - Rainbows figure out where the giant trampoline is hidden

Turns out it was in one of the loft apartments downtown

complete with Jimbo

11/26/2009 - Rainbows assist drunken pedestrian in fixing flat tire

Not sure exactly who the fool was, but regardless the Rainbows are ready to jump at any community service opportunity.

11/10/2009 - Stephen failed to take out a car

While riding home from downtown an oncoming car decided to cut in front of him. He smashed into the front right of the car (cracking his front fork), flipped onto the hood, and then onto the ground.

A police officer was there a few moments later along with plenty of firetrucks and an ambulance. He's at the hospital with a sore leg, but otherwise okay.

The driver told the officer that he thought someone was "chasing him" so he turned without looking. He also didn't have his license on him.

10/25/2009 - BLK13's alleycat race this Saturday

In case you haven't heard, rival bike gang BLK13 is putting together an alleycat race this Saturday! Be sure to come on out and have super fun! For info check out the flier below:

10/18/2009 - Rainbows ride around the country side to observe autumn

2 of the Rainbows (and Ben) took a ride in early/mid October to examine the foliage. They report that it "looks good".

Their route was recorded via GPS and may appear on the 'Ride Calendar' at some point.

10/10/2009 - Welcome Gerald into the Rainbows

We would like to give Gerald a warm welcome into the Rainbows gang as a JR member. Although he currently resides in Cleveland, he is not without some bright ideas and energy that the Rainbows would love to have. Welcome!

10/04/2009 - Seth sorta failed to take out a car

He was riding north on Meigs St straight through the intersection of South Clinton and a car turned into him. He slammed into the side of it, put a huge dent in it, and ripped off the mirror.

Seth is fine, just a little sore. The neck brace was a precaution. His bike is mostly good, though his shifters are a little banged.

The lady explained why she turned into him: "I was three-fourths of the way into the intersection so I HAD to turn." Because she was turning left on a green light while Seth was passing through the intersection the police are aware that it was entirely her fault.

Once again, Seth failed to take a picture of the car.....

10/03/2009 - Booze cruise a successfully fun night!

Hooray for everyone who came. I think there were maybe 15 of us or so, and it was pretty spiffy. The weather was quite nice finally! Here we met up on Monroe Ave:

And we rode to a secret location! To make FIRE!

I think this was after most of the Rainbows left, but it looks like fellow booze-cruisers being creative and team-working

9/22/2009 - Nick made a castle late at night!

Two of the Rainbows were discussing world politics and health care policy when Nick came up with a brilliant idea. He wanted everyone to see (as he is quite proud of it)! Hooray for Nick!

9/12/2009 - Gary spotted

Not sure when this is from, but we think it is Gary.

9/09/2009 - Seth took out a car

A car tried to turn into the shoulder where Seth was riding his bike so Seth used his knee to take out the passenger-side mirror. Seth was too nice in trying to help the poor woman put her mirror back on that he forgot to take a picture.

9/06/2009 - Gary sorta died

We would like everyone to pause today and think about Gary, a fellow Rainbow, with their hearts.

He kind of fixed himself but we should not stop praying.

9/05/2009 - Welcome Seth into Rainbows and Stuff!!

It is with great honor that Seth has drunkenly decided to join the Rainbows and Stuff bicycle gang.

8/29/2009 - Congratulations Stephen on winning the Flour City '09 Invitational Alleycat Race

Also a big hooray for Nick who raced as well. It is a shame however, that he landed in "jail" 3 times and was forced to drink beer.

Stephen took home the 'golden trophy' (pictures to come) and won a 'swrve urban cycling' hoodie made out of bamboo and Nick won some glow-in-the-dark peddles. Gary (who showed up late to support the team) somehow managed to win a fancy Camelback waterbottle!

Thank you Krist who organized the race and thank you to the sponsers who had fancy prizes for us all.
